Sharks are a type of fish with a full Cartilaginous skeleton and a highly streamlined body. The earliest known sharks date from more than 420 million years ago. Since that time, sharks have diversified into 440 species, ranging in size from the small dwarf lantershark , Etmopterus perryi, a deep sea species of only 17 centimetres (6.7 in) in length, to the whale shark , Rhincodon typus, the largest fish, which reaches approximately 12 metres (39 ft) and which feeds only on plankton, squid ,and small fish by filter feeding. Sharks are found in all seas and are common down to depths of 2,000 metres (6,600 ft).

Dunnart are furry narrow-footed marsupials the size of a mouse, members of the genus Sminthopsis.They are mainly insectivorous. A male dunnart's Y Chromosome has only 4 genes, making it the smallest known mammalian Y Chromosome.

It has an average body length of 60-90 mm with a tail of 45-70mm. Ear length is 14-16 mm. Its weight varies between 10-20 grams, it is one of the smallest carnivorous marsupials. The tail becomes fat a few mm from the anus and right up to the tip of the tail.

Prairie dogs are burrowing rodents native to the grasslands of North America. There are five different species of prairie dogs. They are a type of ground squirrel, found in the United states, Canada and mexico. In mexico, prairie dogs are primarily found in the northern states which are southern end of the great plains, northeastern Sonora, north and northeastem Chinhuahua, northern Coahuila. They areherbivorous, and will eat all sort of vegetables and fruits.

The largest living chelonian is the leatherback sea turtle, which reaches a shell length of 200 centimetres (6.6 ft) and can reach a weight of over 900 kilograms. Freshwater turtles are generally smaller, but with the largest species, the Asian softshell turtle Pelochelys cantorii, a few individuals have been reported up to 200 centimetres (6.6 ft). This dwarfs even the better-known alligator snapping turtle, the largest chelonian in North America, which attains a shell length of up to 80 centimetres (2.6 ft) and weighs as much as 113.4 kilograms. Giant tortoises of the genera Geochelone, Meiolania, and others were relatively widely distributed around the world into prehistoric times, and are known to have existed in North and South America, Australia, and Africa. They became extinct at the same time as the appearance of man, and it is assumed humans hunted them for food. The only surviving giant tortoises are on the Seychelles and Galápagos Islands, and can grow to over 130 centimetres (51 in) in length, and weigh about 300 kilograms.
